PSHB Program 2025—APWU Heath Plan is making preparations to cover both Postal and Federal employees and retirees!
New for 2025!
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has announced that APWU Health Plan is conditionally approved to participate in the upcoming PSHB Program and is contingent on benefits and rate negotiations over the summer.
When to enroll in the PSHB Program
You must select a new health insurance plan in the PSHB Program during Open Season, November 11 – December 9, 2024.
PSHB Special Enrollment Period for Medicare Part B
If you are an annuitant entitled to Medicare Part A (typically at age 65) as of January 1, 2024, and did not enroll in Medicare Part B, you and your covered, eligible family members may be able to participate in the special enrollment period (SEP) for Medicare Part B that runs from April 1 to September 30, 2024.
If you choose to enroll during this period, you will not need to pay a late enrollment penalty. Individuals eligible for the PSHB SEP will receive notification by US mail in early 2024.
